Overlook Medical in Summit was named among America's 50 best hospitals, according to a recent ranking by Healthgrades.

Overlook medical center in Summit was named one of the top 50 best hospitals in national, one of the only two in NJ. The DeBary Inn is merely 0.6 miles walking distance to the Overlook Hospital. The DeBary Inn is an 1880 Victorian home built by Mr. Adolphe DeBary. He and his wife, a Summit native named Augusta Cecil, and their three children lived in the home until 1898, when they moved to Florida. 

City of Summit’s 75th annual Fourth of July celebration will take place on Monday, July 4, 2022, at Soldiers Memorial Field, located at 5 Myrtle Ave.

The community celebration will include entertainment, rides and amusements and a food court.

The event will begin with a flag raising ceremony at noon, followed by a decorated bicycle parade for children at 12:15PM. Entertainment will include concerts and a magic show, beginning at 1 p.m. and continuing until 9 p.m.
